This stunning handmade Seascape lantern measures approximately 13cm wide and deep, and 28cm wide. There is decorative glass at the openings on three sides which measure 10cm x 16cm, and the front door which opens, has slightly smaller decorative glass which measures 9cm x 14cm. The lantern has a wooden handle that can be folded down, together with a small metal tea light holder inside. The colours and textures are inspired by visits to beaches on Kefalonia, Greece and our own beautiful Norfolk and are evocative of the seashore. The piece is made using a combination of cabochon I make myself, sheet glass cut to shape, frit and dichroic glass to add sparkle. Due to the handmade nature of this product each lantern panel is unique and details will vary such as the size and colours and placements of beads. I can customise this design with some additional features such as a lighthouse for example; this extra work will incur an extra fee. This lantern can be used with tea lights, but I prefer to use battery powered fairy lights which create pretty light effects all over and are safer.
